We watched it all three of us last week, taking a break from the water leak. Much fun was had. I never had any issue with 4th wall breaks when done well, (aka Adaptation, High Fidelity) but Deadpool is in a whole different league, I think they must hold the Guinness Book of Records for 4th wall breaks... and as such I can understand that for some this is too much. Gotta just go with it, screw it, you know. Nike it, so to speak. I do agree with all you said, esp the dragging part and the villain. I mean. she's just there, whatever, not important. It's fun to watch the two guys, luckily. Otherwise, the movie would stink! I hope they stop though. Of course, they won't they'll make them do this until they're 90! 😂

Thanks Alexander 🙏

Glad you enjoyed it 😁

Yeah, I forgot about High Fidelity. That’s a great book and movie. Even has Springsteen in it! 😃

Hope you’re getting the leak issues sorted out 👍🏼

Leak is fixed. Thanks. Room is a mess, though. Will take time. Yeah, High Fidelity adaptation is also better than the book, sorry Nick. ;)

Glad to hear it. Yeah, the cleaning up after water damage is even worse. My brother had the same thing a few weeks back. Ceiling, walls and flooring all wrecked. Water finds its way everywhere 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yep. Same here. About 5k damage so far, not including bed and furniture and stuff... needs to dry out before we can do anything. 😤

Thanks for the read and review, Dan.

Alas, I care zero for Marvel/DC etc and you'd have to pay me to go see this film, haha, but I still enjoyed reading your thoughts.

Thanks anyway, Nathan 😁

Yeah, this is certainly not the movie to convert you 😆

Next week I’m pondering doing something different. My first “Weekly Readlist” - hmm that title might need some work 🤔

My reading is patchy at best just now but just finished Stephen King’s latest collection of short stories so figured I might talk about that for a change. My ideas and drafts are beginning to pile up so need to get some of them out into the wild. Summer holidays are never an ideal writing time, but we’ll get there 😃

Ah awesome, sounds great. I saw that on the bookstore shelf and considered it, so would love to hear your thoughts.
