Daniel, this gave me chills. Love when you put a dark spin on the prompts! I’m here for it!

I love the surprise reversal at the end. That’s fun. And that photograph of the necropolis is really cool! 😀

Thanks very much, Daniel 🙏

Yeah, the Necropolis is great. They filmed part of The Batman up there as well as around the city. There’s some brilliant gothic architecture dotted around if you look hard enough

Would that be the Tim Burton Batman with the Penguin? I do remember in part 2 there was a beautiful gothic cemetery blanketed in snow where the Penguin goes to lay roses on the grave of his parents. Hard to believe that film is over 30 years old!

No, it was the latest one with Robert Pattinson but I know what you mean about Batman Returns as that looked amazing. All done on sound stages supposedly! 😮

Ah, I remember it now. I went to see the most recent Batman, although I say “I went to see” because I only saw about half of it. The scenes were so dark that my old eyes could not make out half of what was going on. The scenes felt like one obscurity after another. It’s not the first time this has happened. I walked out of one of the Harry Potter films for the same reason. Actually, there were two reasons I walked out of that one. The first was the lighting (or lack of it), the second was the style of directing. I realize the stories became darker near the end, but this was not only visually but tastelessly dark, so contrary to the spirit of the novels. But by the time the Deathly Hollows came out, I thought the series got good again.

I know what you mean! I have the same issue with “dark” movies and TV shows. Literally, anything could be happening on the screen and I would have no clue. I think the worst for me was the big battle at the end of Game of Thrones where, even in pitch darkness, I couldn’t make out a single thing happening on screen. I have the rather annoying issue of being both long and short sighted so I think my eyes just don’t know what they’re meant to be doing 😆
